Just adding to the waiting times info:

Non-EEA Spouse (American) getting EEA_PR
EEA National (Greek) getting EEA_PR

Sent on 2 separate applications in one parcel (on the advice of the Home Office hotline, they said 2 forms was simpler.) Sent Greek national ID (instead of passport, but included all old passports) as spouse has ill parent and may need to travel.

I don't think anyone has found any correlation between asking for passport back and processing times so I'd ask for it.

Hi all,

I have question about my wife application.
She's Italian.
She came in UK in 2010 and started to work since then (May 2010).
Below there is her timeline in UK:
- Started to work in may 2010
- June 2015 went on maternity leave statutory pay.
- End of September 2015 went to Italy
- beginning of February 2016 came back in UK
- Beginning of March went to Italy
- End of March end of maternity leave
- Beginning of April came back in UK
- End of April went to Italy
- Middle of June came back in UK
- Beginning of July went back to Italy.
- Middle of August she will be back in UK.

So at the moment she has a gap of 4 months as she's not back to work yet.
She has been out of UK for 8 months in the last 11 Months. (Oct-Jan, March, May, July and part of August). May this causing problems to her application even if she was getting Maternity Leave till March?

So yours was issued just 2 days after mine (on a Sunday) but it took them 37 days to post...
I had thought mine was delayed, 17 days between issuing it and receiving it, but your timeline... well.... no comment!

As my lawyer told me yesterday because I proved that I working for a period of 6 years when I applied for permanent resident, I will be able to apply now for naturalization.
My Missus was mine dependent (I Have European passport), so she had to wait for 6 years before apply for naturalization.
She got the British nationality last year.
I planning to apply for my naturalization on this October

Applied for me (Non- EEA)
My Wife (EEA)
My two Sons (EEA)

Waiting for biometrics letter still.
