Applying for ILR in 2018, salary threshold

Post by nlama » Tue Aug 09, 2016 1:52 pm

Hi,

I will be applying for ILR in 2018. According to the home office website, it says that I would require min. of 35k salary for at least last one year to be eligible for ILR.

My current salary is 33K. I have requested my manager to increase it to 35k and he is happy to do that.

But we are not sure what needs to be done so that home office will know that my salary is increased to 35k. Do we need to write a letter to home office? Can we update it from the sponsor management system? Can anyone please let me know what is the best way so that I meet my salary requirement?

Thanks in advance.

"it says that I would require min. of 35k salary for at least last one year to be eligible for ILR."

where does it say that?
for normal salary increase, like in your case, you do not have to let ukvi know.

this is the information I get from home office website:

Minimum earnings threshold
You must provide proof that you earn £35,000 a year or more (the ‘minimum earnings threshold’) in the main job you’re sponsored for.

Hi OP

Refer to the below post on Salary levels for ILR. FYI,

Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

Thats very helpful. So, if I submit my payslip with the relevant salary amount, then I would not have to inform home office. Payslip will give an evident that I have meet the salary threshold. Is that correct?

Also, how many payslip do I need to submit, could you please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Three months should be sufficient. You need to submit only the latest one as per the guidance.
