visa paperwork enquiry - confusing email?

Post by darthraki » Tue Aug 09, 2016 2:19 pm

Hi Guys,

I've just applied as my mrs for her spouse visa on the visa4uk website.

I've made all the payments and she will be going to submit her paperwork in 2 weeks time.

I sent all my paperwork to her via TNT International and it is on track to be delivered tomorrow. This gives her 2 weeks to prepare all her files and double check if anything is missing.

My question is - she got this following email:
Next Steps–- You must now take your printed application, appointment confirmation, supporting documents and the appropriate fee (unless already paid online) to the address shown below on the date and time of your appointment.

VFS Chandigarh Visa Application Centre
SCO 62 63, Sector 8 C
Madhya Marg
Chandigarh
160018

If you are in the United States of America, you must send these documents to the visa issuing office as detailed in the information provided at the Application Support Centre and on your Appointment Confirmation email/letter. No personal callers will be admitted to the visa office location and your application will not be accepted at any other location. Failure to submit the required documents will result in a delay and/or lead to the refusal of your application.

Non-settlement, EEA and Returning Resident Applications - UK Visas and Immigration, British Consulate General, 845 Third Avenue, New York, 10022

Settlement (Family Migration) Applications - International Operations and Visas, 6 Millsands, Vulcan House, Sheffield, United Kingdom, S3 8NU
The text i've highlighted in BOLD is what's confusing me...i've just sent all my paperwork to her so she can submit at the visa office when she goes to enrol for her biometrics....

have I made a mistake? Should i of sent my visa paperwork to sheffield directly?
it's too late now for her to send it all back to me....!!!!!!

Any answers would be appreciated?

Thanks

Hi,

I am currently in the same situation. Where did you end up sending your documents?
