Spouse visa - how many visits should we make before applying

Hello everyone,

I would be grateful for some advice and guidance in relation to the timescales to apply for a settlement visa for my husband. We met in July 15 and married in Feb 16 and I above been to see him twice in Qatar since and have another visit planned for September.

We text / video call everyday but wondered if the limited number of visits would be an issue.

Has anybody had a successful outcome with that amount of visits etc.

I visited 12-15 times but not to Qatar.

That is just showing off - at that rate I won't be able to apply for another 2 years

I dont see any issue as long as you can provide evidences that marriage is genuine and marrige still exist and you kept in touch with each others when were not together..so all these chat logs and screenshot of skype would be enough

Just out of interest did you apply before the 12 visits or just felt that a greater amount of visits would give you a better chance?

I dont see any issue as long as you can provide evidences that marriage is genuine and marrige still exist and you kept in touch with each others when were not together..so all these chat logs and screenshot of skype would be enough

Thank you - it is just knowing how much evidence to include as we communicate constantly. I am thinking about 9 whatsapp messages per month (as this is the amount of screenshots I fit in one page) and the same for video calling

Its depend how long is your relationship..I would basically take two screen capture of skype video calling history randomly for each month and then colur print four screenshot on A4 paper to make sure call duration is visible..you can do same for any others electronic source of communication whether whatspaap, facebook, email , mobile bill etc..then also keep receipt of tickets when you travelled to him and any others documents containing boht your and his name will be helpful..you can show them entry and exit stamp on passport as proof of travelling so there is so much out there ..just take them as if they dont believe that your marriage is real and you need to prove that you met him in real, marriage is genuine and still exist

No, I took "one shot, one kill". But it just took a while to get everything lined up in my sights.
