Hello everyone, just joined the forum. I will appreciate any suggestions.

I applied for my DCPR on 02/07/2016 as EU national with 5 years full time employment history. My Husband, a non-EU national has a 5 years residence card due to expire on 28/09/2016; and as usual his employer already sent him a reminder to renew his status in the UK.
I requested back for my EU passport on 05/08/2016 with the hope of submitting his application for PR card yesterday 10/08/2016 (his actual date of eligibility for PR), so as to have proof of continued work eligibility in the UK but still waiting for my passport return.

My questions are:

1. Once I get back my passport, Can he submit his application only with his passport, residence card and my EU passport? As the Home Office still have all my documents with them including our marriage certificates, our 3 children birth certificates, 5 years address proofs (joint name), 5 years tenancy agreement, utilities etc.

2. Since he worked in the UK for the 5 years period (still employed with the NHS), he has payslips that covered the 5 years, including P60. Can he submit those with the application as residency proof? As utility bills, council tax bills and statements are still with the home office.

3. As he will need his COA to continue work after 28/09/2016, and from the forum, I can see that its taken nearly 2 months to receive COA, if we submit the little above listed documents, whats the worst case senerio? Bearing in mind that the Home Office has all my documents and most of the documents are in joint name.

Thanks so much and hoping to hear any suggestion.

Hi,

If you have completed 5 years from your marriage then your application will be fine.

Hi all,
I just came across this statement on www.gov.uk. This is related to EU citizens status in the Uk.
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/stat ... -in-the-uk

I wish we had this about 4-5 months ago so nobody had panic thoughts.

First post, happy post. I never wrote here, but I read often... Got my PRC today

Italian, been living in London since 2004, employed throughout since before moving (I came after a job offer straight after uni)

DCPR Timeline
Application sent: 20/04/2016
Documents received: 23/04/2016
Payment taken: 26/04/2016
Confirmation email: 26/05/2016
DCPR dated: 3/08/2016
DCPR received: 12/08/2016

Now, if I can ask one quick question... How do I make the information request to know as of which date they considered me to be permanently resident?

Thanks!

Did you send them a prepaid envelope? I find the vast difference between issue date and postage times crazy.

I don't think that's the issue...

I sent a pre-paid envelope. Have a look at my timeline (below).

I did not. I sent the original documentation as special delivery, but I had not included an additional pre-paid envelope

Cheers for the reply. I distinctly remember someone earlier sending their docs in April and having only a 1-2 day lag between DCPR being sent out and the issue date. Obviously with all the questions this thread is getting cluttered with, it's a bit difficult to trace that post.

That is why I'm asking these questions but it is all in vain anyway.
