Post by atik » Fri Aug 12, 2016 1:32 pm

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for citizenship including my 2 children in couple of months time.

We have a "family friend" who is counsellor and having good relation from past 4 years, Can he/she sign as professional referee for my self and children too?

Thanks In advance.

Is counsellor on the list? I assume you mean a counsellor that treats people etc and listens to their problems.

Thanks a lot for quick reply.

Yes, you are right CR001. Councillor on list reads as "Councillor: local or county"

The councillor who knows me is a county councillor. But we never deal on professional capacity but a family friend. Can he/she sign for 3 of us(My self + 2 Children)?

Thanks
Atik

If a councillor with the Local Council Authority, then yes, should be fine.

Thanks CR001. Professional Person document says "Local or County"

Do you mean Councillor and Applicants should be in same Council?

Thanks
