Cancelling Tier 2 Visa

Post by the3rdman » Mon Aug 15, 2016 12:04 pm

Hello,

I've recently switched to the EEA route, and my wife (Tier 2) and I (Tier 2 dependent) would now like to cancel our visas. My wife is moving on from the school that has been sponsoring her, so they will be cancelling their sponsorship as well.

I was curious to know if anyone has advice at how to go about this as efficiently as possible.

We have already received our EEA residence cards, so hopefully the visa cancel process should be easy, but just wanted to double check. Thank you.

Once your partners employer notifies HO after she has left their employment, the visa will be cancelled/curtailed.

There is nothing that you/she needs to do.

@ironmask, why have you hijacked a member's post?
Kindly stick to own topic.

I removed it.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
