Hello there,

I got a letter via royal mail in post. They gave me a month to submit.

I am planning to move in Feb so will update you on the experience. FYI, I already lived and worked in UK over a work permit in year 2000-2001.
Regards,
Afzal

Congratulations Afzal,
It is noted by me that persons already having some UK work experience or visited UK for business purposes usually exempted from interview. Ofcourse you are one of them :)

just wanted to clear things out ... i didn't had any big amount in my account ... and i never worked or visited UK b4 in my life ... but still i got no interview and got my visa without interview.

from my understanding if you have a very strong reason attached to your application like a work permit then u don't need an interview. regardless of your previous visits to uk.

Yes ofcourse strong reasons do matter but different applicants have to face different situations, not the same. Did you get EC alone? or with depemdents?
