Which payment is the fastest do you all think ?
Credit card is fastest mode of payment

Postal order & DD comes next

Cheque is the slowest mode of payment

Hi,

I spoke to FLR team this afternoon. She said, my application was received, payment cleared and waiting in the que for processing and not yet alloted to any case worker.

I asked her, why your automated message says that you are currently working on 7th Jan applications. She said, it doesn't mean anything really... Atlast HO agreed, what they say is different from what they do!!

I guess, they pick up few recent applications and announce in the recorded message accordingly.

Regds,

Baskey

Hi,

Call 01142074074 , Option 2 and 2 again. I would suggest to call them only if you need your passport urgently.

Have you applied for extension or initial HSMP visa?

Baskey

Hi Shahzad,

I also applied for HSMP extension like you and sent couple of days before you. My application is not assigned to case worker yet.. so most probably I believe extension application are processed slowly than Initial HSMP applications. Let us see whether any HSMP extension applications gone thro' so quickly.

Good luck to you..

Baskey

Hi Baskey,

How did you know that your case is not been alloted yet. Have you talked with them on the same number you have given to me ?

Cheers

Yes, I spoke to them yesterday as I need my passport for a business travel and they asked me to send urgent treatment form, which I need to do.

They will tell personalised status only if you need your passport for urgent travel , if not they will only say current processing time is 9 weeks like that..

Hope this helps.

Baskey

Got HSMP extension

Post by baskey » Wed Jan 23, 2008 6:39 pm

Hi all,

Today I got my 2nd HSMP extension ( 1+3+3). My time lines are as below.

3 Jan - Application Sent via spl. delivery
4 Jan- Application received by HO
11 Jan - Ref No received
23 Jan - Passport received with 3 years visa.

I have applied 4 months earlier than my previous visa expiry due to business travel and HO accepted my reason, ( of course I did include letter from my employer).

Baskey

My timeslines are through an agent, so I am not sure on specifics, but it was submitted by them on the 10th January, and I have it stamped, sealed and in my passport, arrived back today.

2 weeks, door to door from my agents.

Very impressed and happy that it is all over and done with!!

This was for an initial FLR approval, my first attempt at HSMP and it was successful! They told me applications are coming back extremely fast at the moment, they were quite surprised. No Urgent treatment, nothing.

YAY! :)

Best of luck to everyone else!

Received my passports with visas valid until 2011 :D

Here are my timelines:
11 Jan - Applied for extension (1+3+3 category)
21 Jan - Acknowledgement letter received.
24 Jan - Received a letter stating that claimed points were not awarded for earnings.
24 Jan - Called workpermits, spoke to caseworker and she said bank statements are required covering the whole period.
24 Jan - Sent in bank statements
29 Jan - Received passports with further extension.

I would also like to add that I applied 4 months early for this extension and gave a simple reason that I have plans to travel during the easter holidays.

Excellent service level WPUK.

Thanks to this forum for all the help.
