Applied 15/02/2016
Refused 12/08/2016

Hi my husbands visa was refused because apparently myself and my boss were called in June on separate occasions for a phone interview. I did not answer my the calls as I was at work and we are not allowed to have our mobile phones with us ad have to leave them in our lockers. I have checked my call history and I can't find a call on those dates at those times. It was also said that they do not think my employment is genuine. What would you advise I do appeal or reapply?

Hi everyone,

I'm applying for wife's visa for third time through a solicitor. It was refused on financial requirements not met and discrepancies in first refusal wasn't address. My question is that I would like to make priority application but my solicitor suggesting me to go for normal as it will give them enough time for checks and investigation to met. Could anyone please guide me if it makes any difference as I don't want to wait another three months for decision. Is priority a better option or not?

Thank you

Yesterday i made a call for 4-5 minutes to the home office where they usually charge £1.37 per min. I received a bill of £71.39. However ny solicitor advised me to wait until i received my passport before i make any complaints.

Hi Nav80,

My wife's visa was also refused couple of months ago due to financial requirements. Previously I applied under CAT B (12 months employment) however, next month I am applying under CAT A.

I would just like to know that did you not make any changes to your financial requirement between first and second app OR you just did not address it on the cover letter.

Thank you

Hi stillwaiting123

I see you had couple of refusals before you were finally granted the visa MashaAllah.

Please may I know that you explained your first couple of refusals in your 3rd application cover letter and that how you addressed them all.

I intend to apply for my wife visa next month and was refused on financial grounds few months ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Kind regards
