4 years employment, 4 months jobseeker (registered with jobcentre plus) and 1 year employment. 6 year period between 2004 and 2010 so caseworker can choose 5 within.

Hello everyone.
This forum has been very helpful.
I sent all my documents on 17/02/2016 and I have not received the DCPR yet (non EEA). Has anyone received their PR and submitted the application in Feb?
Many thanks,

I'm looking for patterns here. Would everyone say that EEA nationals received a response within 130 days while non-EEA nationals who required a COA took longer?

Last year it used to be 1.5 and 3 months respectively. Now more like 3/4 months and 6/7 months.

I am Pakistani national. She is french national.

Hope this simplifies. .

So I should find her job quickly? In order to avoid any refusal in2020.

I am working 40 hours.

Any other tips for me...

Thanks

If wife/sponsor has no job at the moment then you/she have a gap and your joint PR clock is stopped.
So nothing will happen in 2020.

In any case UK is unlikely to be in EU in 2020.

Many people wasting time over trivia. Asking about pre paid envelopes, etc. You should read the instructions. One member said clock stops when you are unemployed. NO SUCH THING. If you are on JSA you are still considered economically active. Now max time for a EU citizen is 3 months on jsa so things have changed but previous stay on jsa is still being economically active. If not sure please do not guess and give advice!

By what I am reading, it takes 15 weeks for an EU nationals PR certificate to be dispatched. Give or take a couple of days. As time progresses it will become longer as more are eligible to apply and are doing so after the referendum.

what the moderator has said was correct, as the other person hasn't stated anything he's just said that his partner is unemployed, no other information was given! Also being a sponsor and not working for certain time, that will became a gap that can affect the family member when applying for his/her PR off course if there will be any evidence that time is something else!

P.S: look at how many posts have you posted so far, and look at his green nickname and how many ones has he done? I tell you something my friend I've learnt a lot from this moderator, and I hope you do the same! By the way welcome on board and enjoy your time here!

Hi guys,
I am an eea national

Docs sent: 10/05/2016
Docs received: 10/05/2016
Payment method: Postal order
Confirmation email: 14/06/2016
Passport requested: n/a
DCPR dated: still waiting
DCPR received: still waiting

I bit concerned tho as my case is a bit complicated. So long story short - came to UK in 2009 with yellow card , in March 2011 received blue registration certificate which enables me in 5 years to apply for naturalisation. However the new requirement caught me and here I am applying for PR. In 2009 I work & lived in staff accommodation. The same place went on administration in 2012. We were not paid for 3 months , so I was forced to find another job. I did not receive a p60 for this year. Meanwhile I was living with my sister and her husband and did not exist on any tenancy agreement and etc. I changed a few jobs until I settled down in February 2013 in my current job. And live in accommodation again. I did not have any of my previous contracts so the only proof I got were my payslips..... As I said complicated!

Does anyone know if I did not sent enough documents and they refused what is the next step? Is there a next step or their decision is final?

Venomby,
I'm with softy monster and noajthan on this, yes being on jsa means they qualify but nothing on this has been mentioned. If asusblack1's wife is home without CSI (Comprehensive Sickness Insurance) and no JSA then she is not counted as a qualified worker as she would be economically inactive and therefore not using her EU treaty rights to stay here.

asusblack1,
your wife needs to become economically active or have comprehensive sickness insurance as soon as possible, you will then have to restart the five year period from the date she becomes economically active, if lucky the UK hasn't exited the EU by that time.
"The main categories of EEA citizen who qualify for a right of residence are:
•Workers
•Self employed persons
•Self sufficient persons with comprehensive sickness insurance
•Students with comprehensive sickness insurance"

Hold your horses.

This jumbled joke of a confusing mess of a topic is now 104 pages of people 'talking' to each other;
before going off half-cocked suggest start at the beginning - that is to get the full picture before jumping to conclusions.

Here's a clue:
