English Language Requirement for Tier 2 Extension

Hi

I have to apply for tier 2 extension (previous application was in Sept 2013 for 3 Years ). I have received my CoS now.
I want to understand that, Do I need to give proof for English language as per the new rules from April 2016 (UK NARIC Certificate)?
Or the previously provided proofs are still valid (Degree Certificate)??

Please someone provide inputs as the statements in the Guidance are very confusing.

for extension there's no need to show proof of English again .
