Is NARIC Visas and Nationality service must for ILR?

Hi,

I am Tier2 G Immigrant, my ILR is due in coming months. I want to know, is it must to get statement of comparability for ILR from NARIC? as Naric website says "The service also supports family, settlement and citizenship/nationality applications."

SET(0) form has qualification points under TIER 1 . so confusing ..

Please guide me... Thanks!

For Tier 2 you don't need to fill any details in the Tier 1 section. If you are using your abroad qualification for the English language then you need to apply for NARIC service.

Thanks for response. I will do B1 test for english knowledge. Do I need to attach my degree to ILR application ?
does case worker need to know my qualification ?

If you apply for ILR with a B1 level English test, you don't require a NARIC ELA for your degree. You do however, also need the Life in the UK test.

"These statements confirm your academic qualification level and/or English language proficiency"

so question what is role of NARIC in ILR other than english language knowledge

LIUK is pen next week
B1 by end of month , hope it would not be so difficult.. is my 5 years old IELTS (given at time of entry clearance) void now ?

under 12P (tier 2 migrant) of set-o form , it states

For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules.

does it not mean I need to submit my degree shown at time of 1st EC astier 2
