i literally refused to let them leave the place till they disclosed the reason for congratulating - but once they realised i had no clue , they tried to backstep :(

perhaps HR would have mentioned possible travel to UK and they thought it is part of the long term secondment selection happening across right now :?

whatever , am too tensed about the ec right now , to worry about other things

:x

going crazy - will either start crying or laughing hysterically in office by next week if i am still in ec suspense

3.Allows 32 kgs of check-in baggage and 1 hand baggage along with a laptop bag

Track01,

I think there are no fixed timelines and varies from case to case. I applied for my EC on 2nd Jan from Mumbai and received stamped passport at my home on 10 Jan 2008.

Typically lead time in Mumbai BHC is 12-18 working days.

Regards

abstract,

I can answer you on this, cos i was almost 99% ready to withdraw my passport last week friday.

You can send email to BHC stating the reason and you want to withdraw the pasport..there are 2 ways to go about it..

1) you can withdrw the pasort and keep the application processing - this you can do if you want to go for any stamping like US/singapore when ur apps is in progresss...time taken to give pasprt wil be 3/5 wrkg days to return you the passport..but once the other stamnping is done, you shd submit the passport back to BHC for EC processing..or they will ask you once the EC decision is made.
2) You can withdraw the application & passport together, which means they will totally cancel the processing and send all the documents back..the time frame is 6-10 wrkg days to get the pasport back...in this way you cant resume the application once again..if you want EC you shd only re apply with new fees etc...

hope i helpled..let me know if its clear..al de best
Lion

I Doubt what anilkd said is true...VFS people putting coloured cards based on company..Its not like that..I asked the VFS fellows directly itself when they put a grey card on my black cover..lol.. They said green colour and yellow colour card are for students and grey colour card for hsmp..the colour varies with each type of visa you are applying for..and definitely integra check depends on your company too,if your company is listed on the list of companies they have, even though they get your integra form it will not be done..The list of company starts with accenture..and am confident my company will also be there as its a big software tycoon in India!!!So let us hope for the best :)
