Codes of Practice Salary slightly more than salary offered

Post by Akil95 » Tue Aug 30, 2016 7:54 pm

Hello,
I'm new to this but it seems you guys are very helpful so I believe someone can help me with this. I have just been offered a Graduate Design Engineering role with a salary of £25200. I have just had a look at the Codes of Practice NQF Level 6 2126 where it states the 'new-entrant' salary for design engineers is £25300 based on 39hr weeks. My contracted hours stated in the offer is 38/week which would mean the initial figure of 25300 should be pro-rated down to 24650 which is fine? (25300/39)*38) Is my understanding correct? Please advise.
