VAF4A Appendix1 or Appendix2 / IHS

Hi,

I am a naturalized british citizen. My wife holds ILR. Our second baby is born in India and we are planning to apply for Indian passport and UK Visa for her.

Can you please let us know whether I need to fill Appendix 1 or 2?

Also, should i pay IHS?

Kindly clarify.

Also, for Indian passport of my daughter, can I just apply with my wife's documents as I am british now?

After I got British passport.

Child is automatically British by descent then. Apply for Indian passport and CoE or RoA . No need for a visa.

I heard it is complicated process to get CoE / RoA.

No I don't know timelines. A british citizen can't get an entry clearance visa.

It is not a complication process, read the thread and forms.
