Hi all,
I have applied on 14th Dec in Chennai BHC.
Integra done on last week of Dec and waiting for EC anytime this week under HSMP category.

Wierdly, BHC called my company signing authority (General Manager) and asked for few information which they said will be collected in the next phone call.

Praying Hardly...

hey , i dont know how many are also reading the jan thread regularly. Anugandla who applied on 09/01 has got the updated status on website as application processed.
Applied at Mumbai BHC of course :!:

Called up BHC,
Seems that the decision has not been taken yet and i asked them when will i get it as i need to plan my travel accordingly..But the response what i got was "Sir,Its Upto you to change your travel plans accordingly after you get your visa and We have huge backlogs,So it may even take 10 days for the decision to be made,and Its upto you whether you book or cancel accomodation and we are in no way responsible for that and we cannot say it for sure when you will get your visa"!!

I have applied for EC on 4 Jan @ Hyd VFS.
I have got a couple of doubts senior members pls clarify me...

1. How do I know if at all INTEGRA has happened, I can not ask my HR as I work with a Fortune 50 company where in, this option is ruled out.
2. I have shown liuqid funds upto 4.5 lacs (partly shares and rest cash), now that I am in a situation where in I have to use say nearly 1.5 lacs of cash. Will doing so affect my EC decision??????

great sense of humour...al de best mano...

Btw i duno wt happened to my pasport..See the distinct status that we can get for a single case ...quite funny..........

1) my SMS reads same old status as "application fwded to BHC on 04-12-07"
2) online reads as "processed application sent to OC section on 03-12-07" 3) BHC call center lady tells the "pasport is depatched yesterday and for more updates calll VFS"
4) VFS lady tell "Your pasport is still wit BHC & cal us by 3.30"
5) email from BHC says "you may note the necessary entry clearance is granted"
6) Bluedart customer care tells "you packet details not found..call later"

if you ask me which status i picked, i had till now believed the point 5 since it was fruitful to me :P

I will update you guys today if i get any other update as well.. :idea: :?:

I have sent a fax stating my urgency of travel and requested to expedite my application. The lady in the customer service (BHC) also suggested me the same.

Applied for EC : 14-Dec-07
Integra Check : 28-Dec-07

Looks like there are still more applicants from 2nd week still waiting like ram and arun :shock:

hoping you guys get it within the next 2 days itself :idea:

really worried that BHC have no clue how to handle the current backlog , no plan of action :?: :?:

i was wondering if they should close down VFS counters for a week, say in feb , to finish all backlogs and then take new applications - they should release bulletin now itself about one week closure so that ppl can plan well in advance ...but i guess that will lead to huge rush before the one week closure :oops: :cry: :?: :arrow: :?:

Vidya,

I am really worried about this coz my employer wanted me to be in UK on 7th of Jan to kick-off the req. analysis...

Last week, BHC called my company general manager asking for some information. I dont know what that is...

Will they check even after Integra is done?

arun , we have heard on this forum about cases of multiple calls / emails from Integra and BHC to employers
so try not to get too worried about it.

maybe BHC caseworkers have been asked to do sample audits of the verification done by integra - say 5% of cases to confirm the integra doing their job ; its possible

dont worry you will get your ec soon !!

BHC chennai , please answer all our prayers soon :o

I think they normally prefer Face to Face.. in that way the interview process will also be simple to you and them....

How about others whats ur opinion???
