Salary Points

Post by ns7 » Mon Jan 21, 2008 10:21 am

According to the latest HSMP rules for extension (even for the HSMP tier from March 2008) GBP 45000+ annual salary gives 45 points.
I have following question:
If someone has annual salary exactly equal to GBP 45000, then how many points he/she would get, 40 or 45?
(Also I assume that it is the gross salary which is considered, not the net salary, so deductions like NI, tax and pension are not having any impacts on the points)

Thanks & Regards,
ns7

The 45-point gross-earnings threshold (Band A) starts at £40,000 (cf previous earnings points table and statement of intent wrt highly skilled migrants).

.

HSMP Extension Points Calculator

40,000.00 GBP and over. So, more than 39,999.99 GBP for maximum points.

For my HSMP application, I have to show the earnings of the 12 consecutive months from the last 15months. Now I have my current earnings from Jan 2007 to Dec 2007. Considering the worst case scenario, what would be the last date for my HSMP application to be in the Home Office, in order to get my earnings considered fine?

Thanks

This information is available on the Guidance and already very clear.

Looking into your question, I think you better look consultant to guide you.
Surprisingly this come from an HSMP candidate, is it the sign of laziness ??

My question is

Q28. Please insert the relevant country code from the guidance notes.
Isn't the code is either A,B,C,D,E ?

Q31. Please insert the relevant income band from the guidance notes.

Is the answer 7,200+ like that..

I am really confused.. i saw some note in this forum as Band to write as 'D'.

please advice.
