Salaams
Just a quick question for all forum members who applied priority visa and visa was granted, did the HO call sponsor or employer at any point during the application? The info is for a family member of mine.

@anonymous

You need to go to your MP's office, discuss your case with a case worker at the office, do not talk to the MP, in my case the case worker was really really helpful, she helped us get call letter and also passport returned very quickly.

HI there everyone, ive been reading in this forum for sometime and this is the first time im writing here. Really need advice.
My visa was refused for one reason. They wrote the following sentence:
Did not provide 6 months Barclays bank statements prior to the date of application.
Everything else said Met criteria.
This was incredibly upsetting as I had sent 11 months prior to application. I applied savings/employment so the Barclays bank is where I hold my savings and the balance has pretty much been the same for around 6 years so I can actually supply years of statements if I wish to show ive always had the money.

when I got this refusal I was so shocked and upset I couldn't believe it. I thought either they lost them genuinely or maybe it was done by purpose. Allah knows best. And now im in this whole appeal fiasco when I had done everything right from my side. I had actually sealed the envelope myself and sent the documents off to Sheffield after checking all the documents a zillion times.

My solicitor said it is straight forward and It should get turned over as I have the statements however after reading how long appeals actually take im now in two minds as to whether I should re apply. I need some opinions as to what I should do whether to wait on this appeal or to reapply considering the reason I was refused. Just needed some advice on this as to what you guys would do if you were in my place.

also ive noticed everyone here has review deadlines. I got my notice of pending appeal however it has no deadline date. where can this date be found. It just says the ECO person has 28 days to reply to the tribunal and it says the whole thing can take 15 weeks. So how do I know what the review deadline is.

Reponses will be appreciated

Thanks everyone

Really sorry to hear of your refusal, may Allah give you sabr, just goes to show how pathetic the ECO can be, not knowing that such a small oversight on their part can cause months of misery for the applicant and their families. As you can see from the forum reviews are taking are very long time, you could reapply using the priority service and also keep the appeal ongoing, inshallah you will have success.

Hello all,
It's been three week since I got letter from the tribunal that appeal has been allowed. Is there anyway I can find out the progress from British High Commission?
Thanks

Salam guys

I see a lot of people are appealing AND reapplying at the same time.. is there any official document that says you can do? I know a lot of people have been successful in doing so too mashaAllah.. I spoke to a solicitor and he basically told me he's never had a case where he has done that, and that the eco can just point blank refuse saying you have an appeal running.

Please advise!

I did this and yes u can do it and there is a official document saying u have the right aslong as u withdraw after the visa is granted

Obviously u cant b a overstayer or not meet the requirements and be like im going to apply again, it has to be genuine and u HAVE to fix all your refusals then visa will surely be granted

Myself and many people have been granted visa this way

My wife took a letter from her GP third time stating she is still in depression and she needs her partner back to join her asap.

Than I also wrote a cover letter requesting the judge to look at my third expedite request, because of this long process and unfair refusal my wife is still suffering and I want to join her asap and than judge accepted that time.

I pray that your worries come to an end soon inshaAllah

Your solicitor is basically confuse between application made inside country(extending leave to remain) and application made outside country(entry clearance).

You cannot make new application if your appeal is pending in case of extending leave to remain inside the country but rule are different for entry clearance application outside UK

Salaam everyone,

My brother in law applied for his spouse visa in April 2015 and it was refused on the basis they did not believe it was a genuine relationship, even though they have a 4 year child. We sent proof of phone calls for the last 6 months, but they have been married for 4 years, so they said we wanted to see more evidence, even though they phone each other every day.

We appealed in September 2015 and received a letter in November 2015 with a date that the tribunal will write to us after 22nd February 2016.

Since that date we have heard nothing, has anybody from London got a court hearing date who have letter from 22nd February 2016?

Applied May 2015
Refused Sept 2105
Appealed Sept 2015
Letter date 22/02/2016
