ILR Employer letter Query

Post by coolguy_83 » Fri Sep 09, 2016 3:30 pm

Dear members,

I am planning to apply ILR from Tier 2 ICT category. I received employer letter with salary and SOC code. Company HR manager has signed in the official letter head, but there's no seal in the letter. Is the seal is mandatory for submitting UKVI ?

Can you please share whether the employer provided the letter with or without seal ?

Thanks

Seal is not mandatory. Company stamp will be fine though.

Does the letter state that you 'will be required in the position for the foreseeable future'?

Hi CR001,
Yes. Wording is bit different. It says "he will continue to be employed in future".
Is this looks fine ?

Sorry, Did you mean rubber stamp on the letter ?
It does not have stamp either.
If I google it seal and stamp gives same meaning :D
It is printed in company letter head with logo and address on the top and signed by HR manager.

Thanks

Seal and stamp are different things. I work in the legal field and they definitely are not the same.

Letter should be fine.

Sorry CR001, I got the difference between seal and stamp.

Let me try again, the letter does not have rubber stamp, will that be ok ?

Thanks

Can HR not just put a company stamp on?

Should be fine and HO can confirm your employment if necessary with HR.

Don't be alarmed if HR says they do not have seal, many company do not have/use. As long as its on company letter head and you are using the original letter, its absolutely fine. CR1 also mention earlier it should be fine.

Stay cool :)
