Travel to India with Indian Passport after UK naturalization

Hello Gurus,

Need your expert advice on the below issue I’m facing currently please

I have UK PR and my son and wife entered UK with visitor visa. (As could not fulfill the financial requirement to apply for dependent visa)

I applied MN1 for my son and got the British Citizen Certificate today. Will be applying for British Passport ASAP.

The issue I’m facing now is related to Visa with my son traveling back to India.

They have to travel back as my wife is still on Visitor’s visa and have a flight booked on 2nd of Oct ’16. (Wife’s visa expires on 1st Nov 2016)

I wanted to know if my son can travel with Indian passport to India (as we are allowed to travel for 3 first month after we get foreign citizenship)

Then surrender the Indian passport and apply for OCI in India? And travel back to UK with his British passport after my wife gets her dependent/settlement visa please?

If not, could you please suggest any alternative?

I know it is a bit complicated but this is the situation I’m in. 

If you spend some extra money then there is a suggestion.

You will get british passport on same day if you book for tomorrow also.

Indian Passport surrender they take only 3 working days.

Then you do not have a wait for OCI but you can get visitor visa for 1 year on 3 working days.

Thank you very much for the promt response.

Yes, British passport we can get in 1 week (for new child passport there is no 1 day premium service)

But I was not aware that we can get Indian visitor's visa in 3 days.

Max if I get in 1 week also it should be fine.

Could you please confirm on the this?
Also I couldn't find any links in the forum discussing on the Indian visitor visa processing times.

British passport also you can get on same day.

And visitor visa for india max on 3 day.

Regarding 1 day service - please check this link where it says this service is not available for First child passport.

FYI, I have booked an appointment for the 1 week passport service for coming Monday @ London.
