passport stamp?

Hello,

I changed address and went to the local police station to report it.
They updated my police certificate and stamped it.

However they did not stamp the passport.
Did they forget to do so? or is this normal?

I know for a fact that the overseas visitors bureau always stamp the passport in addition to the certificate.

I'd appreciate some feedback. I feel like they should have stamped the passport too not just the certificate. Unless the passport stamp is only done when visa details change?
Anyone with experience changing just the address and having no passport stamp?
