It was in a regular brown DL envelope that I had to sign for. Don't know if it was first class.emma5115 wrote:Hi Riders,
Congratulations !
May I ask you a question ?
Did you received your PR card with First class or a prepaid envelope ? I received my documents about 1 week earlier than you, but I haven't yet received my PR card even I have provided a prepaid envelope of next day deliver .
Thank you.
Did you husband received his PR card in the end ?Icol13 wrote:Hi ciaocicomkp wrote:Hi Ciaocico,Ciaocico wrote:My Timeline (EU National; 4 year 8 months employed+4months Course):

Is there a problem that I not receive Email Confirmation ?
I am afraid it is indeed worrying that you haven't received the confirmation email yet.
Nomader, Johnkk, Shakesy and Kruk all posted their application on 27 July or later and they all have received the confirmation email.
I think you should get in touch with Home Office.
Best of luck
I don't think it's a big problem not receiving confirmation email. My husband applied last April 2016 and he never received confirmation email and he is not the only applicant never received email.

Good luck to everybody specially Mirza666.
Everybody is very helpful. Our best regards to everybody.
I helped a few friends with filling in their forms/applications and am tracking their timelines just out of interest/for this forum - one has a June timeline:Does any EU national who applied in June had any news yet? I applied on 16th June and still waiting. Regads
Me as wall Second application. EEA NATIONALsalmintin wrote:EEA national. Second application. This time I sent of lot of explanatory papers, along with 1kg of documents.

Hi Nina,NiNa2010 wrote:HO received mine on 20/4, took the payment on 22/4 and sent the confirmation email on 18/4. And I haven't heard back from them after that. I'm EEA national, but I'm starting to think I won't get an answer before it's been 6 months...axelwb wrote:Hi everyone,
Has anyone applied in April and not heard back yet?
I have applied on the 27th of April, money taken two days after. I haven't heard a thing since. No confirmation email nothing. I have been patiently waiting up to now but it is getting frustrating when you see people applying in May get PR before you. I'm happy for all of you, I truly am, I wish they have been somewhat better at this service.
My case is straightforward, 6 years of employment (EEA national) so I cannot find a way to justify the HO's lack of ability to make a decision within a reasonable timeframe.
Should I try to call them or wait for a further 2 months?

I saw a few timelines where people never received the confirmation email but got their DCPR in the end, so try not to worry.Romero wrote:Hello everyone,

As you can see I haven't received a confirmation email and it's been over a month. I've seen a couple of applicants here who sent their application a few days later than me and they have received an email. But I haven't. I don't understand why but I hope this doesn't affect the result of the application. Any ideas?
Sure. I was refused because I didn't show evidence of CSI during student years, however I DID NOT REQUIRE CSI because I had a Yellow Registration Certificate issued before 20/06/2011. I was also refused because they misunderstood my timeline and they claimed I didn't show any evidence of work for a particular time, but I was abroad during that time so I didn't need to show evidence.
What happened in your case? Did you not receive confirmation email for your second application?
I just wanted to add: Is it possible to be rejected if you've been in the country for 22 years? I arrived aged 8 when I moved over to live with my mum who had moved here 3 years previously - long story! She was told/ or thought she didn't need to apply for any residence permits for me as I was a minor. The reason I have now applied is I wish to apply for citizenship and a British passport to make things a bit easier for myself. I put on my form the dates I wish in education for and my work history but only supplied documents for the last 6 years - since I graduated from University and had to get my own place and a proper job. Will they reject me based on no evidence of for example being in secondary school during certain dates? It would seem a tad pedantic since I can prove I've been working full time and have a place to live etc.rainbow_tardis wrote:Sent: 06/08/2016

The email I received suggested it will take 6 months to get a decision!! Does anyone know how I can get my documents back in the meantime? I volunteer with children and need to get a DBS check so need certain documents back in order to do this, can I just write to them at the same address I sent the application to asking for my documents back? Has anyone received their decision/ pr card any quicker than 6 months?
