Tire 2 first granted before 2012 April 5

Hello,

I was granted Tire 2 G (family members dependent T2) in September 2011, landed in the UK on 5th October 2011 and living here since then with Tire 2 G (extended twice over the course of past 5 years). Now, I get a job offer for 2.5 years with a new employer. I understand I can get another 2.5 years of Tire 2 G as I entered this country before April 5 2012. So, I will not be subject to any 12-months cooling-off period. Of course I will apply for the ILR soon once I switch my employer with the new employer.

Please confirm.
