Ok thanks

I thought that they do see whether you go for appeal or not before refunding IHS charge

I tracked my spouse application and UKVI tracking service suggested that application has been processed and decision has been made after long wait of 5 months so thats why was curious whats the process in case of refusal
Inshallah best of luck
Id say if no refund by monday/tuesday then congrats!

It actually takes 2-3 months.
Ive not known anybody personally who has go theirs back after three months but majority of the people whom i know of have got the passports back at islamabad 2 months and 2weeks-2months and 3 weeks after submission.

You will hardly get it before 2 months esp with the delays they face these days.. The rest is purely luck.

And thats not to say u will actually recieve visa in passport back but most will.. I have known two people to have picked up their passports after 10weeks of submission and have visa cancelled or not given as they had been re looked at randomly

I dunno about waiting two weeks more it can take 2-3 months .. (3 months being the normal they tell u that u will get it back in as there is backlog) most people i know recieve about a week before the three month wait.. All those ive known to have submitted passports at Islamabad have recieved the visa after two months minimum and within a few weeks after two months..

You should receive an email that the application has been processed and returned to the VAC, you should then receive a call from the VAC where you submitted application to come and collect passport.

Aoa,

I hope everyone is doing well here.

Just came back from Pakistan on the 26th.

I did emailed all the email addresses which were available to me making inquiries about the call letter for my wifes visa.

Its been well over 2 months from 8th July 2016 that's the original date when I finally won the appeal.

The email replies I got looks to generalize to me that its with a specialist team and will be dealt with soon.

Going to my MP is a pretty pointless thing for me cause as I have already mentioned this enough times that he's the biggest Tory dearly beloved I have ever come across in my life.

Any other ways I am already praying a lot for it.

Remember me in your prayers and I'll remember everyone in my every single prayers.

Please keep us updated on the forum with the outcome of your spouse visa appeal/application.

Good luck to everyone waiting for your useful replies.

1st Visa Refusal 05 06 2014
2nd Visa Application 20 March 2015
2nd Visa Refusal 04 06 2015
Appealed 26 06 2015

Hi i would just like to say after a long wait and being married 5 years and away from my partner MaShaAllah subhanallah this morning he recieved a phonecall in pakistn to say his passport is ready to be picked up.
So as he is quite busy for afew days we have decided tht i will travel to pakistn and he can pick me up from the airport on tuesday and we can both go to islamabad and pick up his passport with visa InShaAllah.
I have a return date on my ticket and although emiratss are bloody £600 .. I cnt complain.. Hope hos one way back on emirates wont be pricey..

Anybody know if he has to apply for transit visa or will he be allowed to stay over in dubai a night or two with me or wven just leave da airport with me there to see afew places if we were to go for long wait of 20 hours or somthin?

August 31st 2016 handed in passport at islamabad
September 30th 2016 called to pick up passport
4th october 2016 will pick up passport InShaAllah

If he is a Pakistani citizen then he required a transit visa which can be obtained from Emirates airline by paying addition £100.

Hi, does anybody know how long it takes to get call for passport after documents have been returned from Sheffield? The information is for a relative of mine who applied priority spouse visa 3 weeks ago, his solicitor received documents back yesterday together with a letter saying a decision has been made on your application, no enquiries were made by the HO with the sponsor of sponsors employer during the application.
