Hey i got EC today .........it took 21 days to process ..i m planning to fly in second week of feb....thks for all..

these guys are testing the tester's (me of course) patience... phew...
no upates yet... 13th day over... mailed BHC no reply...

any updates for others???

I guess mumbai BHC is now processing second week of Jan applications

but chennai BHC with few exceptions is still stuck on second week of dec appln :idea: :?: :!: :cry:

You never know reincarnation - they may decide that the best way to handle the backlog is process current applications within 15 day timeline and deal with the old cases later ...not at all fair to the remaining dec applicants ; but might make sense from their servicing levels and reputation point of view :cry:

Vishal applied on 20 Dec in mumbai, i applied on 4-jan in mumbai, i noticed someone else who applied on Dec 28 from mumbai.

All the cases are still pending

I think we should not give too much credit to mumbai BHC

Got reply for mail today...

"You may wish to note that HSMP applications received in the first week of December are being assessed at the moment. Due to unusual rush in HSMP applications we are unable to assess the applications in the said timeframe. However, we are trying our best to expedite the process. We will keep you updated regarding the outcome of your visa application.

We regret the inconvenience and appreciate your co-operation. "

Have you analysed when they send this reply? as I have seen in some posts they reply saying that integra is pending blah blah... I'm just curious to know whether integra done or not... let me know if you can guess :)

Jan applicants might see the results approx during the second week of Feb...maybe first week for early jan applicants...

Hi Sandhya - all the best with your ec.

HSMPinit - they are now sending automated replies. Previously they used to confirm the status of each individual case which was queried in the mail

lots of backlog and everyone is emailing them - so they are giving mass mailer type replies.

How do you guys come to knew that Integra was done?...

Was it updated in VFS Site or we need to mail ti BHC?...

Please let me knew as it was the same old status from Jan 16 " Application forwarded to BHC on 16-01-2008".

Nope..it wont be updated anywhere...You will come to know only if your HR talks to you about that or vice-versa...

Maybe when you mail BHC enquiring abt the status of the application..sometimes they might tell you if verification is done or not...

I have applied EC for me alone and i mentioned in my application form that both my kid and spouse will be joining me later as i need to find a job there and settle down...

my wife and my kid are in dubai.... my question is will i be able to do an EC for my sposue and kid from Dubai?even though i have got HSMP and EC Done from India?...

Yep..I guess that should not be a problem at all...Once you to UK, settle down...send all your supporting docs, they should be able to apply at Dubai consulate..for the EC...
