FLR(M), buts there's a financial requirement. Do you have savings?

Do you have children?

Then her leave will be refused, well put on hold if it's only the Financial Requirement you don't meet. A1 English also required. How long has your wife been here?

She may be eligible for FLR(FP), or she can apply for FLR(M) which will likely be placed on hold.

Savings would be £18600 - £9600 = £9000:

£16000 + (9000 * 2.5) = £38500.

FLR(O) would be incorrect.

Yes children can make a difference to both FLR(M) [the Financial Requirement] and FLR(FP) [Exception 1].

I am not able to show that much of money (38500) so FLR(M) will not work for me so I think only an option I got is FLR(FP) (let me know if i am wrong)

And thank's for the clarify that FLR(O) would be incorrect.

i really can't believe i went to lawyer and they suggest me FLR(O)

Apply for FLR(M) meet everything but the Financial Requirement then your application will be put on hold. If eventually rejected, you can appeal and ask for consideration under private life. Your current leave will be extended whilst your application is on hold.

FLR(M) to ILR

Post by orlince » Sun Oct 02, 2016 11:50 am

Hi

Guys so far I get some really helpful advice from this website and really thank full for it.

I have a question regarding my wife’s FLR(M) visa. I am putting my relevant detail’s as follows:

1:I became a British national few month’s ago from my ILR

2:My wife got her FLR(M) visa from 2015 for 2 years, before she was on depended visa.

3: We never clime any kind of benefit.

4: My wife came to UK in 2008

My question is to get ILR for my wife need to spend another 2 year’s on the FLR(M) visa. But is there any option she can apply for her ILR now, or this is the only option she have now to get another extinction on FLR(M) which due on 2017 and then when she reach 10 year’s time then she can apply for ILR.

Many thanks’ for reading

It will be very helpful for me anyone can provide any advice.

Best regard’s

Orline :)

Be careful. Was she given any letter, saying when she may apply for SET(M)?

If she applied from 6th April 2014, then she should have been granted leave for 2.5 years.

They may expect her to complete 5 years on FLR(M) or she may apply for
SET(LR), 28 days prior to her 10 anniversary of her initial entry.

No they didn't give any letter saying when she may apply for SET(M). so it look's like she need to carry on Flr(M) another 2 year's or 28 days prior to her 10 anniversary of her initial entry which comes first.

Many thank's the reply
