Ex-UK leave allowance for FLR M visa

Post by aurnoc » Wed Oct 05, 2016 3:09 pm

Hi,

I was granted FLR M visa on 28th July 2014.

I travelled outside the UK during the following dates:

- 25th dec 2014 to 20th feb 2015 (59 days)
- 27th june 2016 to 21st aug 2016 (56 days)

Please advise me how many days more can i stay out of the UK, before my visa extension becomes due on Jan 28th 2017?

Thanks

If you are on a spouse settlement visa, there is no absence limit.

spouse settlement visa : I have googled it up and it seems I fit in that category:

I had applied for FLR M as 'spouse of a person settled in the UK' after my husband got his ILR on 10-year basis. He is now a British national.

Thanks alot for this information.

Be aware that you will have to apply for a further 2.5 year FLR(M) extension before your current visa expires. I assume from your post that this will be in January 2017.

Yes. I will be back in UK, planning for mid-jan appointment at Croydon PEO
