Hi everyone,
i applies for my wife's visa 3rd time priority. Online application submitted 07/09/2016
Biometric:12/09/2016
Documents send U.Kvi: 22/09/2016

I requested for status update and received email saying you application count and received at decision making centre but not assessed by an eco.

Anyone had any information what this DMC is as I never heard of this in my previous two application.

Waiting for reply

Thank you

Well I think it means exactly that, the decision making centre, basically waiting for an ECO to look at your application, best of luck

I know right, we're basically stripped of our human rights!! It really shouldn't be this hard to bring over a loved one.

I'm sure you've tried everything in your power to find out what's going on.. have you tried expediting your appeal?

Someone tried it by explaining how they're in depression with medication etc and they managed to expedite their appeal

Wife picked up her passport today.
Refused.

1. Havent been to pakistan after marriage (april 2015- reason is i couldnt afford to go which is valid for 90% of people cos theres only so much you can afford in these times and work too).
2. Why it took 18 months to apply for settlement after marriage( reason is that i didnt have a job for the first 6 months then when i found a job i applied after i had enough payslips- sent them 9 payslips.).
3. Employer never answered their phone calls.(reason is that it was eid and they were closed that day).
4. Whatsapp chat logs looked like they were typed in wordpad and on an A4 paper.(Everyone pribts their whatsapp chat logs this way so i hVe no idea why they said this)
Now im not sure wether to appeal or reapply and give an explanation.

My wifes english test runs out in 6 months and also her tb test soon aswell. I have heard the english test will now be a2.
What do u guys recomend?

It's probably time that you go to visit your wife if you're financially able to.. and don't appeal, it takes way too long, you'd rather just apply again with more of a range of communication evidence. Also next time explain every little detail extensively, if there's anything that may seem questionable just explain it to the best of your ability in a covering letter.

Sorry to hear of your refusal, may Allah give you patience.
Addressing your refusal reasons, i have said in past post that it is important to visit spouse after marriage, if you can't visit make sure you send wedding anniversary cards, other greeting cards such as birthday, Eid and get well soon cards, they are small items but go a long way in convincing the ECO that the relationship is genuine and subsisting. You should reapply using the priority service, takes a few weeks for decision. Appeal can take over 2 years from start to finish and there is no guarantee of success. Best of luck

Basically u just need to prove your marriage is real

-visit ur wife
-take loads of pics in different settings
-send money gifts etc and keep receipts
-explain why u haven't visited in 18 months clearly
-show all communication in its original form since marriage

U may have viber, facebook, whatsapp, calling cards, imo, facetime, skype, all this will be enough but remember they have to show genuine convo and u acting as if u r a married couple
- try and include call times and dates this is important

Then reapply with priority and inshallah shouldnt take to long

Also make sure your employer is aware that they will call and make sure he has all the right answers and that they match to yours

No point appealing takes waaaaaaay to long check out my timline below i ended up reapplying too

Exported them to wordpad and printed them. My cousin did the same thing and his werent a problem.

Appeal luckily it was 2 days before so will be £140.
