Indefinite leave to remain set m postal application

Hi there

my husband applied post application set m indefinite leave to remain on 6th June 2016. received letter on 20th July 2016 to apply for biometrics to be done which was done same day and still waiting. thought would receiced reply by end September 2016 as straightforward case. not received any further notification.

any idea how much longer can take? understand can take up to 6 months however now 4 months still waiting. not sure if anybody who applied in june if had positive feedback.
