questiosn regarding Tier 2 extension

Hi,

Got my first Tier 2 - May/June 2013
Left job and applied another company in 2014. [Same job code.]
Got VISA in June/July 2014

Now my TIER 2 expires in June/July2017
My VISA and COS says restricted. No idea what does that mean.

Question 1
So when i apply for my extension, which one do I need to get. Is it restricetd or unrestriced COS?

Also, my company said that the Licence end date is May 2018 and the Licence renewal opening date is February 2018.

Question 2
So when I apply for my extension, am i getting till 2018 or 2019? (Please mind that licence end date is May 2018)

you need unrestricted cos.
Your visa says restricted for other reasons.. not cos of your cos.

you can extend your visa till may 2019 (6 years from first grant)
licence extension has nothing to do with your visa
however, the employer must maintain the licence for the entire duration that they want to sponsor u
