Start Date on Resticte COS is predated(Tier 2 General,Help?

I am Tier 2 Dependent in UK and I have got my Restricted COS from the employer on 12th October 2016. And the Start date is showing as 1st Ocober 2016, But the date of COS issue is 12th Ocober 2016. My original start date is 28/11/2016 I speak to the HR and requested them to change it but they are saying it cannot be changed as the system won't allow them to do so. But they said they can give me a letter with a future start date which is 28/11/2016.
I am worried that this might affect in getting the visa granted, what shall I do, could anyone spare a thought on this.
