divorce certificate for uk spouse visa extension?

Does anybody know if I still need a divorce certificate for my second spouse visa if we are already married? I only have a copy. Thanks

If I've understood your post correctly and your spouse is applying for a FLR(M) extension, then a divorce certificate for a dissolved marriage isn't required.

Thanks Casa, sorry my wording was confusing. It's me who is applying for an extension of my spouse visa. My husband was previously married before me, so I understand his divorce certificate will not be required on this occasion?

Confused! I've got the current FLR(M) application here in front of me which is asking for it. So, is it in the application because HO was lazy and copied the requirements from the original spouse visa application? It's in Section 6 on page 24 of 76 in FLR(M) version 04-16. I'm happy to post a screenshot of it (if I can figure out how).

We're definitely including it, because with the HO it's always better safe than sorry... or as a moderator once said: "Always best to be 200% prepared when dealing with HO."
