hello,

i am British citizen and working as self employed and want to sponsor my wife from Pakistan on family visit visa could someone plz guide me that :

1- what is financial requirement of sponsor.

2-what is accommodation requirement .

3- can i apply from uk or have to apply from Pakistan.

Why not apply for a spouse visa? High risk of refusal for a visitor visa to be honest. What possible strong ties can your wife show as evidence that she is a 'genuine visitor' and will leave the UK? How long is she planning to 'visit'?

Because i cannot fulfill fund requirement for spouse visa as i am on tax credit thats why want to apply visit visa and she will not live in uk more thn 6 months.

1- i am living in studio flat will it be fine ?

2- also she changes her surname after marriage will it effect on application?

6 months with hubby is residing not visiting. Unlikely to work out.
Caseworker will be unlikely to accept spouse has any reason to leave for home after the 'visit'.
