Changes to SOC code salaries while waiting for COS

Hello!

I am about to start my Tier 2 extension application and my company is applying for my COS next week. I am worried though that between when we do this and when I send in my application, the new SOC codes may come out (last year it was published Nov 19). My current salary is matched to what I need for the experienced salary, but wondering what will happen if it increases while we are either in the middle of being allocated a COS or when I'm waiting for a decision on my application.

Does anyone have any advice or experience with this?
