Is it must spouse name in husbands passport?

Post by ashokvpp » Tue Jan 29, 2008 4:14 pm

Hi

I got married in Aug 2007 and now applied for HSMP.

But my passport does not have spouse name included. Whereas my wife has my name included in her passport.

So is it compulsory that i should have spouse name included in my passport?

Pls suggest.

Thanks for tips :)

Have a nice Day!!!

Cheers
ashok

No. Most countries do not include the passport holder's spouse details in their passport anyway, so I'm sure the Home Office does not care about this.
In a few years time we'll look back on immigration control like we look back on American prohibition in the thirties - futile and counter-productive.

They will rely on the wedding certificate for proof of marriage.
