I got the same reply. That November Ceremony is fully subscribed and my application is in advanced stage. I applied in June 2016.

So lets see what happens after 25 November.

its better for to contact them via your solicitor because your correspondence is ur solicitor..if you email they get back very quick now a days..its no harm..

I call them this morning nobody pick up then I email them they reply after 2 min That my Application is on Advance stage Its over 1 month. Now and I am at the same stage I don't know what's going on its so frustrated

Hi guys I Applied for citizenship on 22 March 2016 Application was received 23rd March I don't got the acknowledgement letter I just got the letter of Second stage I email them on 4 /10/2016 and I got reply my application is on advance stage and I email them again 14/10/2016 and got same reply and I call them today about 70 times no one pick the call I don't know if will get the approval For 25 Nov if any one got it please share the time line thanks

Hi there, any news? I applied on the 06/03/16 but I have not received the approval letter yet. We are on the same boat now, not sure if I will be called for the 25/11 ceremony. They sent me a letter on the 03/09 stating my application was on second stage and it would be sent to the minister at that time. Please let me know if you have any news. Thanks

I have applied in June 2016 and got a letter one month ago that it is in 2nd stage.

I have emailed them and I think they have already created a list and may be this is the last week of sending Approval letters for the November ceremony.I suspect this from the last line mentioned in the email "The November Ceremony is now fully subscribed to."

Following is the email that i have received.

Hi XXX,

Your application is currently at an advanced stage of processing. While it
is not possible to give an exact timeframe, this office will be in touch
with you as soon as a decision has been reached.

The November Ceremony is now fully subscribed to.

I finally got the invitation for the ceremony. Here is my timeline:
- Applied the 30th April 2016, Basis: 3 years Irish Spouse (the dates shown below are the dates in the letter I received)
- 8th April: received acknowledgement of my application a requested further documentation (send my original passport and explain why the signature in the application form was not exactly the same as in my passport). I sent all they needed the next day after I got the letter.
- 19th April: letter stating that my application was now on second stage (they also returned my passport with this letter).
- 6th September: approval letter requesting the payment, my GNIB card and photographs (sent everything as soon as I got it and was received by the citizenship section on the 9th of Sep)
- 21st October: invitation letter. As you see it can take a while between the moment you get the approval and you get the invitation.

so the Applications from Irish spouse are definitely processed between 6 - 8 months.
work permit guys application are also processed in 6 months
EU national applications are processed in 6 months

EUfem application = 6 months at initial stage + 4 months at advance stage + 2 months approval ceremony etc.

now please dont explain that every case is difference etc. everyone qualifies for citizenship fairly so everyone is eligible. and INIS has same process for everyone, so Family association and Eufem process is longer than other applications.

They still prob still issue some approval but may hold the invitation for ceremony for the next one..

1st stage letter/Acknowledgement: 17-jun-2016
Approval letter: 28-Sept-2016
950 Paid : 3-Oct-2016
Invitation letter: 01-Nov-2016

Dear Friends,

I received my second letter y'day 1/Nov/16. It states that my application has been initially assessed and has proceeded to second stage of processing. Case will be submitted to minister for decision as soon as enquiries are complete and required documentation has been compiled.

I have applied based on 5 year residency on Stamp 1 + 4. Following are the timelines.

Application received by INIS - 15/July/16
First letter received - 1/Sep/16
Second letter received - 1/Nov/16

Bro there is no 2nd stage 3rd stage anymore .u will get ur approval letter next . Applications takes up to 1 year now to process or may be longer . If they don'task you anything so its everythin is ok .. so don'tworry about it.
