On what basis did YOU obtain ILR, long residence or 5 year PBS?

If on long residence basis, she should switch to FLR(M) before traveling.

She is my dependant on tier 2 for 4 years and two years dependant on tier 4.
Does she need to go for two visas 2x2.5 years
Or is there any other route we can take to apply for her ILR.
On basis of 7 year son in uk or
On basis of 5 year dependant visa on tier 2
Any possibility.... please guide

Only FLR(M) which will re-set her immigration clock to zero putting her on a new 5 year route to settlement (2.5 + 2.5 years).

She will also have to pay the NHS surcharge of £500 in addition to the £811 visa fee (postal) or £1311 if submitted in person.

If she reaches 10 years in the UK before the end of the 5 year period on FLR(M), she can combine her time on all categories and apply for ILR under long residence.

On basis of 7 year son in uk or No, this does not in fact give a parent ILR and is a difficult route to go and high chances of refusal.

On basis of 5 year dependant visa on tier 2 No, because you applied for ILR on the basis of 10 years long residence. The rules for PBS dependents of LR ILR migrants changed in April 2014 and the only option now is FLR(M).
Any possibility.... please guide
