FLR M Extension absences

Hi Senior Members

Could you please tell me if anyone wants to extend FLR M for 2.5 years again so how many absences are allowed out side UK. 1st FLR M was issued in January 2015 for 2.5 years. 2nd one is due July 2017.

Is any rule applied that No more 90 days in last 12 months for this category?

No, there is no such rule. However, absences should be limited and for good reason, i.e. spouse should not be living abroad and only visiting the UK.

Be aware that for the next FLR(M) extension in July, A2 level English will be required (from 01/05/17).

Also your wife will have to pay the NHS surcharge of £500 in addition to the visa fee.
(Casa, not CR001)

Absence should not be an issue. Make sure they have proof of communication and subsisting marriage.

And about English language requirement she submitted B1 at her 1st FLR M in January 2015 . Does she need again or not ?

I meant to say that She needs to summit new evidence for English language means A2 which is new requirements from January 2017.
