Pay raise needs notifying?

Post by mansoorash » Sun Nov 13, 2016 6:26 pm

Hello everyone,

I have been on tier 2 (general) since September 2012. Got the extension in September 2015 with the same company in the same role. At the time of the extension, my salary was £31,000. I have recently been given a pay raise and with effect from 1st November 2016, my salary has been raised to £35,000.

Does this need to be notified to the Home Office?

SOC CODE: 2421.

Many thanks
M

No need to notify the HO of a pay raise. However, any reduction in pay must be reported.

Hi,

If it is an annual pay rise which has been given to every employee in your company, then this does not need to be reported.

But if this pay rise is specifically for you or few other employees, then it must needs to be reported to UKVI within 10 working days of the effective date through SMS system. No harm in informing anyway just to be on safe side.

Refer to page 66, point 303 below:

Thanks,
Hassan
