Result: WAITING

Its already 45 days completed and donno what to do????
I have applied for me and my wife together.
Same answer from VFS: Passport is still under verification

Rang up BHC and mailed them too. No changes to the status. Still they maintain the second week of Feb target for my Application.

Rambabu,
remember the story of HSMP_Secunderabad (its on pg 26 of this thread if i am not mistaken) he did not get any call from VFS even though his passport had arrived in the VFS Hyd office. He came to know from BHC guys when he had called up.
I tried calling BHC numerous times today morning, but they are just not picking the phones. Only thing we can try is keep contacting VFS everyday, and after a few days its better to visit our VFS office in Hyd and check if they have got it or not. I do not think they are even updating the site properly.

Members please advise.

When I called up VFS they said that there isnt any difference between calling them for status or checking it online. Both dip in to the same db.
Only BHC calls can give us the real status.

Hi everyone,

try to stay cheerful and positive - today afternoon we will see some updates definetely - bcos i remember a couple of weeks back - although they work only half days on friday ; we saw lots of updates in the second half of the day :?: :!: :roll:

jason , when they say second week of feb - do you think they mean next week ( since feb is starting as of this week) or do you think they mean the week after next week ??? :shock: :shock: :shock:

i agree this waiting is excrutiating .....day 24 for me today :cry:

Guys,

I am still having a close look at ths thread even after i got my visa..I am seeing tat nothing has progressed much after last monday. :oops:

This is really bad tat Ram is reached his 30th day...ram, why don u ask the BHC lady to connect to Case wroker..if she refuses pressurise her to spek to the CW and tel you whats hapeng at their end...you got to push certain thgs and this is one among them..

others in waiting don loose hope and i am sure the timelines have come to 25 days for sure for all applications at chenai BHC..this is sometg they shd make it formally anounced..so ppl can wait for with patience..

called up the BHC this morning and got the same status that there are some more verifications to be done and will take some time.. However today she mentioned that they will decide on the application shortly and it generally takes a month.
So now it seems that these guys have changed their working time from 15 days to 30 days..afterall they are not accountable for anything and they go by their wish... :evil:

lion it seems that we cannot push too hard on this. Coz I was warned by the lady at the helpdesk that my continous follow-up will have a negative impact on my application as I have been following up almost daily by calling BHC and sending mails.....

I suggested this cos i did the same way..i dnit send emails.but i used to call BHC everyday after my 20th working day..i used to ask her why its delay..also i was asking her to speak to the CW and find the current status....this sort of worked for me..its a suggestion..ppl can take if they feel it will work for them..all de best guys..

i guess now things have changed ..they dont want people to call till 30 days are over probably ?? and too many ppl are now caught in the december backlog - it is more than 15 days for the early jan applicants also now - so they have stopped responding properly to emails and calls

i am really wondering how long this backlog will go on ....really wish i had applied in november :oops:

I have hotel booked from Feb 20 to March 10......
If at all I cancel the current booking and rebook on new dates......
How do I intimate BHC about my new HOTEL BOOKING....
I mean is there any specific format....or just an email will do...?????

I was NEWBIE when I joined this forum....Later the status changed to JUNIR MEMBER....and then the status changed to MEMBER.....

But there is no change in the status on VFS site :-(

try www.venere.com & book hotel. they ask for credit card details. but they dont charge in advance & once you get EC you can cancel it...

seeing the delay in EC decisions you can take 50 days gap from the date you apply and also book accommodation for 3 weeks..
