Treatments....

Post by drdh4 » Mon Nov 28, 2016 3:30 pm

Hi all,
This question is on behalf of my good friends.

Background.

He came to England last year on a tier-5 visa for 2 years as a medical practitioner /registrar. His other half had a car crash 15years ago and is paralyzed and lives in her non-eu home country. She is currently undergoing dialysis 3 times a week.

This is the question.

If my friend's wife came to uk would she be eligible to have free NHS dialysis treatments 3 times a week? Since NHS fees are included in their visa fees I would personally think it should be free.

Wondering if anybody had a similar experience and/or advice.

Thanks in advance..

Please stop posting the same question over and over.

If no one is responding to any of your previous posts, it is probably because no one knows the answer.

Dialysis 3 times a week and all the other care she would need would cost the NHS substantially more than £200 per year.
