Tier 2 ICT Dependant to Tier 2 General

Wanted to Share our experience on Tier 2 General Application Process.

This forum has lot of Information.But sometimes too much information can be a worry.
My Husband was on a dependent visa and his company sponsored him for Tier 2 General.
He was called for a Personal Interview

Documents submitted
Old Offer Letter
6 months Payslips
Cos
Tenancy agreement

We were very confused if we should disclose about his employment to avoid a doubt of Pre selection.
Questions asked in Interview-
When did you apply
How was the interview conducted - No interview was conducted
Job description

Same questions sent to his employer too.

My husband had a similar interview 2 years back when he tried to switch from Tier 2 ICT dependant to Tier 2 General and his visa was rejected?
Would there be a interview for every application applying for Tier2 ICT dependant to tier2 general visa switch? or Is it on a random basis or could be when they have queries?

Yes, the users visa was approved.
