Very Urgent. WP application while waiting for HSMP

Hi all,

could you please help me with this issue. My employer will just send a WP application but I have submitted by HSMP docs earlier last year.
I still don't want my employer to know about my HSMP.
Is there any rule that forbids this? Please let me know your thought.

I dont think there is a rule that forbids applying for WP and HSMP concurrently.

I think this scenario has been covered before but I can remember which forum member took this route

It's ok, there's no rule against this. There are a few people (myself included) who applied for WP in case the HSMP process would take longer or be unsuccessful. In my case, my employer pulled out the WP application the moment I got the HSMP approval letter.
