Can i switch visa application to tier 1 ?

hello,
kindly help on this issue.
i use to be an overstayer and later have a british child.
i am currently on 2(1/2) flrfp visa.
but in the last few months, i have registered 2 companies, applied for a petent and design protection of my products.
my question is can i switch to tier 1 visa if i qualify (£50,000)before my flp fr visa runs out?

i believe i can reach the £200,000 mark before the time i need to apply.
but does the source of fund matters e.g crowd funding for new product business.
also does my current visa cartegory (flr fp) qualify for a switch?

As far as I can see, a person on FLR cannot switch in the UK.
