Zahid come on, don't lose hope. I have a nagging feeling tho that the entire scheme might be scrapped.

Even if it is scraped before your approval it should not be an problem as long as you have submitted the application. They have charged you for it and they are legally bound to process all pending applications.

yes they may be legally bound to attend to pending applications, having collected the funds but disapproving all pending applications (whether qualified or not) is also a way of scrapping the programme, right?

Attend to pending applications... wonder....

Stop the programme ? I doubt that strongly, they will rather increase the points you need to get the VISA and in that way reduce the number of entrants and applications.

If they find a lot people applying for extension and were not economic active the first year I will bet they going to inrease the required points.

now where did I read that Britton is being invaded....

Alagomeji,

Why do you think that the entire scheme might be scrapped?

HSMP is here for a long time - they may tinker with the points (revise upwards) and increase the fee substantially..IMHO it will hit the GBP500 mark within 2 years but they won't get rid of it.

Zeke, I dunno, I just feel it's too good to be true, it kind of reminds me of the H1-B scheme in the US about 4 years ago, when anyone who could move a mouse seemed to be in high demand. But it's more likely to go the way Kayalami suggests.

NE1 has a second thought now?

Post by dhavaluk » Thu Feb 03, 2005 9:43 am

friends, :?
whatever u all say, but it seems there is somethign wrong or at least fishy these days, as the status of HSMP is not movied ahead from the 7th June even in the update of 31st January, as it was the same on 20th December.

Does anybody have any idea or answer from HSMP team about explainign the reason of its non-progress for last more than a month? :?:

I perceive they can only tinker wth the policy as time progresses and increase the fee. You know itz money spinning business for the home office.
