Hi

I sent my wifes application on 14th of Oct. Sent them an email on 26th of Nov and they said it had been escalated, and another email saying that they were in their timeframes.

Should I send another email after 40 days of waiting or just sit tight ?

Thanks

Just over two months and it's such a stress journey Duas!

Congratulation
Very happy for you
We have not received any email from them , the received only received was on last Friday in response to my email for the status check, so perhaps few more days to go .
I have never experienced such an intense stress before, not knowing what might.
I am wishing everybody well and praying that all families be united

Zee the decision letter says 30th november so it could be that your decision was made later! We may have done the status check email on the same day but it will depend on when the decision was made!

yes mine is Karachi, my wife went there today but they reassured her that there is no need to visit us, if there is something they will contact her immediately.
Is it true if IHS payment gets refunded then it is a bad news zk?

Sister Shifaa you will not get refund for an NHS surcharge as your visa was successful, what my self and ZKwere saying that, lot of people in this forum have suggested that once your decision is made and you have been refunded NHS surcharge then in most cases visa is rejected, so slight hint, but then other senior members suggest that it could be that you may receive a refusal and then get refund, so we can never tell until we receive passport. lets hope for the best everybody including, scotgirl and zk

scotgirl

you should email it yourself. my friend who recently got his wife visa applied through solicitor and he was the one who always contacted ukvi directly instead of solicitor.

zee did you receive any update on email/sms/call yet?

i don't know who long they will take but hope it is worth it InshaAllah :)
