I am also planning to apply in feb and have one query
My US student visa got rejected 7 yrs back and it's mentioned on my passport as 221g. Is it just enough to mention the section under which it is rejected or do we need to give the explaination in EC form. I don't now the reason it is rejected.

Please help!!

Hi,

1) 3.1 lac is more than sufficient, if you are primary applicant.

2) VAF2 application form (VAF1 is for Visitor)

Thanks hsmp_guy. I have transfred amount 2 lacs from my friends account and taken sponsor letter. He is my class mate,collegue and relative too.

Will it cause any problem. What I feel is "should not give chance to them "

Siva,

2 lacs is a huge amount to be transferred at the last moment while applying EC. Try to attach all the proof you can, and explain this situation in the covering letter of application.

You can do the following to avoid confusion:
1. One Notarized gift deed.
2. Attach letter stating info about the gift.
3. Photocopy of the cheque.
4. Attach your Friends's highlighted bank statement showing debit of cheque amount.
5. Highlight your bank statement showing the amount credited.

I think that should not be a problem for you. I also had the same issue but it was for H1B, and I got my Visa stamped this month only. Just mention it clearly inside the application form and put reason what you think of. If you don't know simply say "No reason was given to you". It would be good if you attach an VISA refusal letter along with your application as proof.

I have taken personal loan on 2 icici credit cards.

on one card they have given me 80,000 and on the other they have given me 4,50,000. Because these personal loans are on credit cards no leter will be given by the bank.

do I need to submit any document proof for the loan or a CA certificate mentioning the detials along with my bank statement highlighting the credited amount is just enough.

Has anybody taken personal loan on credit card? If so what are the docs submitted?

Please help me in this matter.

I have fund of 2.5 L in my saving account. Most of this cash is deposited by me as money as well as from my fater's account.
Inadition with it I am showing (notariced) 15 L immovable property in my name.

1) Is it sufficent?

2) Money I collect is from my differetn friends which I have given earlier.
As it not passed through bank account , will it make any problem in EC?

Hi ,

I have submitted all my documents for EC on 7 th feb in Chenani VFS. They told that it takes 20 working days to take decision and complete the formalities. I did the best from my side , rest is GOD's grace.Waiting by crossed my fingures.

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to apply for EC next week and have two queries reg. the same.

I have got a job offer and my employer in UK is sponsoring me and arranging accomodation also for me.

1. I don't have any money in my savings bank account, is it enough if I get a sponsorship letter fom my employer in UK.
2. For accomodation, is it enough if I get a accomodation letter from my employer, should I also get rental agreement or something like that.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

better you take some personnel loan of 3 lakhs and show that

and for accomodation you need to have it on your name

so just book hotel through booking.com

addtionally you can submit these employment details also
