Spouse visa fin P60 and ILR

Post by aghayevi » Sun Dec 11, 2016 11:02 am

Sorry, didnt find my previous post so created this one with my last 2 questions before applying.
I am a naturalized British citizen, i've included a certified copy of my passport. Do i need (should) include a copy of my ILR plastic card which i also got or it's an extra?
For fin. requirements I am applying in Category A, attaching last 7 months payslips and bank statements. Last tax year and previous 2 years I was self-employed so I have no recent P60s. Is it ok not to include any P60?

Thank you so much in advance!

ILR BRP card is irrelevant if you are now British. Your passport is sufficient.

Payslips and bank statements should be sufficient.

you should have returned your ILR BRP card once naturalized.

Depends on when OP applied for and was granted citizenship.

that was introduced in around december 2015. so you mean that if op got ILR card before that date then he can keep it? is that your mean? if yes then still i believe he should have returned that.

If OP got his citizenship etc before Dec 15/Jan 16, then he is not required to send the BRP card back. I still have my ILR card. The change was not applied retrospectively to those who already got Citizenship.

Although no one ever fined yet for not sending their ILR BRP. Much appreciation if you could paste here some official source confirming that those who got ILR BRP before December 2015 are not required to send their BRP back since the official instruction regarding that is in general. I also know few who kept their BRP as souvenirs.

It is NOT those who got ILR before December 2015. It is CITIZENSHIP
