On a lighter note...
i was wondering ,some director can make a film out of this forum..it has everything...anxiety, happiness, tragedy, though romance is missing (but i thought of a story...say some guy could fall in love with the lady in the embassy after calling so many times and talking to her and exchanging mails  )

I think the Dec and Jan EC thread names should be renamed... something like "All those who applied during BHC holiday season"... will give lot info to the new visitors :)
Thanks...

others , please let us know about online updates after 3.30 - it is possible that there are many more decisions taken which BHC has not emailed to the applicant about :?:   :!:

Vidya,

I have got the following reply...

Thank you for your e-mail.
Visa Section is currently experiencing a high volume of visa applications, this, and new working procedures associated with the recent change to capturing biometrics data, means that it is taking longer than usual to process visa applications. Our staff is working to reduce the backlog of applications. Please bear with us during this period and do not make any travel plans. However, I am unable to give you a likely date of decision at the moment.
We regret the inconvenience caused.

Looks like a routine mail anyways... :?: :!:

Rambabu, Harvis, if you both have not received any updates why dont you join me? Am planning to go there by 7 AM...

I think each BHC has their own ways of working and responding... You see that Chennai BHC is sending a differetn mail response and Mumbai is sending a diff.
but there are no success stories of Mumbai BHC getting visa...getting worried coz I'm the one who has shown the least amont in my bank balance
